Valuation Options
Our appraisers tailor valuations according to client need. Most requests fall under the following valuation styles:
Estate Value Estate value is the price respected by the IRS for trust and will planning or execution.
Fair Market/Division Value Fair market value, or division value, is the price that property would sell for on the open market between a willing buyer and a willing seller. This is the value that is accepted by the IRS for estate tax liabilities, as well as charitable gift donation appraisals.
Replacement/Insurance Value Replacement value or insurance value refers to the amount it would cost to replace an item with one of equal quality and purchased within a limited time frame. This is the highest valuation figure for personal property.
